- Update and strictly implement municipal and fishery ordinances;
- Prevention of Illegal Quarrying
- Inclusion of Fishery privilege, provision of scholarship through sponsorship
2. Update integrated fishery ordinance of the province;
3. Provide appropriate relocation sites for informal settlers along the no build zone (former coastal PNR);
- Conduct IEC of the directives of DENR
4. Empower fisherfolk associations;
- Equipment and insurance for Bantay Dagat
- Provision of CSO Fund and Membership in the LGU Special Bodies
5. Provide supplemental livelihood for affected fisherfolk;
- Training on product packaging/bottling, display of products in the innovation hub of the LGU OTOP Center
- Provision of fisherfolks/fishery equipment
6. Re-organize and re-mobilize the Provincial La Union Baywatch (IATF) to be led by PG-ENRO;
7. Establish maritime sub-stations along the coast of La Union;
8. Conduct regular joint seaborne patrolling and monitoring of municipal waters;
- Provide incentives and logistics to those who conduct regular seaborne patrolling, foot patrol and in land patrolling.
- Reorganization and enforcement of Bantay Dagat - Procurement of floating assets
- Continuous provision of financial assistance
9. Strengthen Bantay Dagat and MFARMCs, through training and participation in local policy and plan development.
- Strengthen Bantay Dagat/Bantay Ilog and MFARMCs, through trainings and participation in local policy and plan development.
10. Establish a provincial MPA network.
- Strengthen and expansion of existing MPANs
- Conduct of biodiversity monitoring assessment
- Conduct of regular water quality assessment (monthly)
